I can sculpt a variety of breeds and poses– sculpture portraits make great gifts or cake toppers. Pictured below are the bride and groom chihuahua cake toppers I sculpted for my sister’s wedding.
Each portrait* is lovingly sculpted by hand and your pet’s personality is always taken into consideration, with the goal of creating a engaging and life-like miniature for you or a loved one. I encourage clients to schedule a consultation over the phone to discuss what you desire in your personalized sculpture.
In order to commission a pet portrait sculpture, I require the following:
- For pet portraits, I require 3-5 photos of your pet at different angles, preferably front, side and diagonal views and in the position desired for sculpture. These can be sent by mail or emailed. Photos not required for general breed sculptures (e.g. you would like a sculpture of a Yorkshire Terrier)
- Any message that is to be inscribed on the bottom of the sculpture.
- Any other specifications regarding the sculpture (e.g. you’d like the pet wearing a hat, holding a bone, etc.)
- Contract for desired work must be filled out and returned and include name, address, and phone number for contact and for shipping information.
- A non-refundable 30% down payment for commissioned piece must be received before order is fulfilled. (Prices listed below, contact me for additional pricing quotes on specialty work.)
*2D acrylic or pencil portraits also available by request.
Regular prices are as follows for an approximately 5 to 6 inch tall sculpture:
- $150 for a specific breed, but not a specific pet (e.g. a West Highland Terrier sitting, a Great Pyrenees standing, a Beagle lying down, etc.)
- $225 for custom pet portrait, $150 for each additional pet (see above requirements)
- $50 extra for each additional detail (e.g. holding a specific object, wearing items of clothing, add wings, etc.)
- $450 for bride and groom cake toppers (includes bride with veil and pearls or flowers and groom with hat and bow tie)
- $525 for fully attired bride and groom cake toppers
- Larger and smaller sizes are possible. Ask for quotes on additional custom work
Prices for custom necklace pieces (sculptures for pendants are relief work, approximately 1.5 inches tall and 1.5-2 inches wide):
- $40 for a specific breed
- $65 for a pet sculpture
- $10 extra for additional details (wearing clothes, holding item, angel animals)
- Leather or synthetic leather cord and clasp included (choice of color: tan, brown, black, or white)
- $20 extra for silver chain
- $40 extra for custom bead chain (choice of colors)
Please allow at least 4 weeks for your order and an additional 7-14 days 4 shipment. Wait may be longer or shorter, depending on order volume. I will consult with you every step of the way, but if you are not completely satisfied with your order, you can send it back and receive a 70% refund (30% down-payment is nonrefundable).
