Hello there friends!

The Cricket’s Critters booth at the Arftic Art event in Janesville on January 28, 2012 was a lot of fun and benefited homeless animals! It was a fundraiser for Friends of Noah, a fantastic animal rescue organization. Please go to their website to see how you can help and see my booth below!

Fundraising is a new aspect to my business. It all started when my dear dog, Little Man, got sick with an intestinal blockage and needed two emergency surgeries. The cost from the surgeries is very high, but not as high as the cost of not doing whatever was possible first. He is now getting stronger every day and amazes me in every way with his strength, courage, and love, and I am eternally grateful for the joy he has brought to me and so many others in his life.

This site will be used as a fundraising site for a foundation to help people pay for their pet’s surgeries. After Little Man’s needs have been met, I know there are others like him out there. Loving dogs with loving owners who have to choose between their finances and their pet’s life. Health care is so expensive, but so necessary. You never know what life will bring and it is up to us to make sure our furry friends have what they need.

If you donate, you will receive a gift of handmade art from me based on your donation amount. Below are a list of items you can receive:

$20  A hand-drawn and signed animal sketch
$35  A hand-drawn, signed, and matted pen and ink sketch
$50 A hand-drawn, signed, and framed pen and ink sketch (with color)
$75 A hand-made dog or cat pendant with a cord and clasp
$100 A hand-made dog or cat necklace with a beaded chain
$150 A small dog or cat sculpture or painting in acrylic on canvas
$200-250 A medium-sized dog or cat sculpture
$300-350 A medium-sized dog or cat painting in acrylic on canvas
$500 A large dog or cat painting in acrylic on canvas

I will create something one-of-a-kind that inspires me especially for you, and it will be made love, care and gratitude.

Any higher donations will receive several hand-made items from me in a collection theme so they will all match in some way (e.g. several matching paintings, matching necklace, earrings, and bracelet, etc.). Please inquire regarding specific requests.

It should take 2-4 weeks to complete you gift, depending on the size of it.  All donations go directly to pet medical costs.
